How to get to Galiano Kayaks

Get to Galiano Island from Vancouver and Seattle

Tsawwassen terminal (40 min. south of Vancouver or 2.5 hours north of Seattle) serves mainland traffic sailing to Sturdies Bay on Galiano. Vehicle reservations recommended during peak season.

From Victoria and Vancouver Island

Swartz Bay terminal serves Vancouver Island traffic sailing to Sturdies Bay on Galiano. Call B.C. Ferries (250) 386-3431 in Victoria, or book a ferry reservation online.

You can leave your car behind!

We can pick you up and drop you off at the ferry! Ask about our shuttle service!

From Vancouver to Galiano by bus For details on how get to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal from downtown Vancouver visit Translink BC’s website.

From Victoria to Galiano by bus Swartz Bay ferry terminal from downtown Victoria, use the #70 bus. For information about bus schedules and rates, visit BC Transit’s website.

By seaplane

It is also possible to fly directly (by seaplane) to Montague Harbour, where we are located. Go here for more info about schedules and booking a flight.
