Tour Costs

Prices are based on double occupancy. There will be an additional charge for single accommodation.

7-Day Kayak Tour

$1595 USD. Price includes six-nights accommodation and all meals, as well as roundtrip transportation between San Jose and Drake Bay via charter flight.

3-Day Natural History & Birding Tour

$650 USD. Price includes three-nights accommodation, all meals, and daily transportation by taxi-van.

(This option is available as either an add-on to the seven-day kayak tour, or as a separate tour)

9-Day Natural History & Birding Tour

$1995 USD. Price includes eight-nights accommodation, all meals, daily transportation by taxi-van, and a domestic flight from Drake Bay to San Jose at the end of the tour.

Reservations

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit

Payment in full is due 60 days prior to departure.

Reservations being made within 30 days of the departure date may be subject to an administration fee of $100 USD, depending on domestic flight availability

We can get great quotes for discount airfares to San Jose from any point in Canada. Ask us!

Cancellation policy

Cancellations given 60 or more days ahead of departure will be given a complete refund less a $100 USD admin fee. 

Cancellations made within 60 days of departure will either forfeit the 50% reservation deposit, or receive full credit (less out-of-pocket expenses--e.g., pre-paid domestic flights) for future trips with Galiano Kayaks in BC or Drake Bay Kayaking in Costa Rica.

We reserve the right to cancel any tour. If cancellations occur you may reschedule or request a full refund.
