Based at Montague Harbour Marina next to Montague Harbour Marine Provincial Park on beautiful Galiano Island, British Columbia, Galiano Kayaks has much to offer: guided kayak tours, both day tours and overnight camping expeditions, kayak rentals, and used kayak and equipment sales.

Costa Rica Kayaking

Since 1987, Ben has been offering sea kayak tours and natural history & birding tours in Costa Rica weekly from December through April, during B.C.'s winter months. We are the only company that we know of operating in Central America in expedition single kayaks, small groups of six or less, as well as with comfortable eco-friendly lodging with amazing home cooking and hospitality.

It's a unique opportunity to visit the Osa Peninsula, world famous as the most biologically diverse place on earth! You can visit either Corcovado National Park with local naturalists to experience a rainforest or snorkel at the seamounts of Cano National Park.

This unique mini-micro-climate offers kayakers the wonderful experience of having no wind until noon every day due to its location in the rain shadow of the Talamanca Mountains. Sir Francis Drake chose this bay over all the coastline between Peru and Mexico to calmly wait, with good water and few mosquitoes, for Spanish gold.
